Invoices live in one tool, expenses in a spreadsheet, and sales in a till that knows nothing about either. At the end of the month someone re-keys it all, and the numbers your accountant sees are only as good as that copy-paste.

Nefin keeps it in one ledger. Every invoice, bill, payment, and sale posts a balanced double-entry journal, so your reports come straight from the books instead of being rebuilt from them.

Nefin POS is a free, offline-first point of sale for cafés, restaurants, and shops, with no per-seat or per-terminal fees. Sales commit locally and queue for sync, so when the wifi drops you keep selling. When the device reconnects, each sale posts to your books in order as a journal entry, and inventory items reduce stock and post COGS automatically.

It works with common ESC/POS receipt printers, standard barcode scanners, and cash drawers kicked via the printer. The POS and the Nefin desktop app are available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Your Books, Inside Your AI Tools

Nefin runs its own MCP server, so the AI you already use can work with your books directly. Add it as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini, or point Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, or Gemini CLI at https://api-books.nefin.app/mcp, then ask for last quarter's report, look up who owes you, or draft an invoice for a new client.

Secure by Design

Two-factor sign-in, trusted devices, IP allowlists, fine-grained roles, and a separate database per company keep each business isolated. Fiscal periods can be closed so nothing posts into them again.
